Located on the Connecticut shore in New Haven, Yale-New Haven Hospital is a 944-bed tertiary care facility and Level I Trauma Center whose extensive, state-of-the-art facilities include Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital, Yale-New Haven Psychiatric Hospital, Shoreline Medical Center in Guilford, CT, Yale Cancer Center (with a new, 14-story Clinical Cancer Center currently under construction), and Yale-New Haven Heart Center.
