We were also the first in Connecticut to implement the Epic electronic medical record system throughout the entire organization. This $290 million initiative was completed on time and under budget. Epic now links all three hospitals, Northeast Medical Group, Yale Medical Group and many community physicians, including over 1,220 physicians and providers at 267 YNHHS-affiliated ambulatory sites. This makes us a national leader for continuum of care technology, as we can use our integrated EMR to identify quality indicators and best practices across all parts of the System.
Our corporate offices employ more than 2,000 highly skilled professionals in a wide range of fields, and our recognized industry leadership provides a powerful foundation for the operations of three world-class hospitals and a highly respected physician practice group.
Here, professionals from diverse backgrounds come together to provide a comprehensive range of services. As your career progresses and your skills and interests evolve, you’ll even have the freedom to transfer to new roles and locations within the system. We’re committed to helping you build a career—and to creating the extraordinary experience you deserve.
Regardless of your area of expertise, you’ll find exactly what you’re looking for: challenges, excitement, mutual respect and the chance to be recognized for your achievements and expertise.
